Virtual Deck is a small, independent project: a free online deck of playing cards made for anyone who needs a fair, fast random draw — no app, no sign-up, no clutter.

Why this site exists

Card games rarely stay in one room. A card night short a deck, a classroom probability lesson, a magic trick rehearsal, a game over video call — all of them need a deck of cards that's actually fair, not just a list of random symbols. Virtual Deck was built as a dedicated tool: a real, finite 52-card deck that shuffles fairly, removes cards as they're drawn, and keeps a live history so a session never loses track of itself.

What we believe in

Fair shuffles. Every deck is shuffled locally in your browser using the Fisher-Yates algorithm — no server round-trip, no seeded results, no hidden bias.

No friction. No account, no download, no paywall. The tool should be as quick to reach for as a physical deck.

Privacy by default. The deck doesn't need to know who you are to work. See our privacy policy for details on the little bit of local storage it does use.
